Originally trained as a ceramicist, I have worked in the field for over thirty years. I have worked in Germany, Austria and the United Kingdom before finally settling down in the South of France, after falling in love with the area. I have progressively refined my technique and specialised in stoneware, which is a type of ceramic fired at a very high temperature. I am mostly passionate about creating utilitarian and practical ware, but I also, from time to time, have fun creating unique and artistic objects. After a recent trip to China and a journey on the “Ancient Tea Horse Road”, I have decided to focus on the creation of pieces related to tea preparation.
